3 Ayahuasca Experiences: Death & Rebirth, Past Lives, Languages & Aliens

My first ayahuasca experience was something I really didn’t expect at all. I had my second experiences two weeks later, and both had a profound impact on me. After that I had several more experiences with ayahuasca, and although it is difficult to describe a lot of what happened during these ceremonies, I will summarise the most profound experiences as best I can.

The first experience: death and rebirth, symbols and auras

I drank the ayahuasca at around 9:30pm on a Saturday night, and I didn’t come out of the experience until Sunday at around 3pm. So in total, this experience lasted for over 15 hours, which is way more than people normally experience. I am told it is usually between 4 and 5 hours.

To start with, I was having trouble relaxing into the experience. I recall the shaman coming over to me to check how I was doing and if I was in the experience or not. I told her that I wasn’t, so she started to work on my body and mind to help me open up. She touched my head and chest several times, and after around five minutes, I started to see lots of colours in my mind’s eye… I felt like I was entering another dimension.

The next time I opened my eyes, the room and everyone in it was still there, but appeared totally different; it was like it had merged with this other dimension. I could see lights around people’s heads and bodies… like the auras I had learned about when I studied energies.

Soon after this, feelings started to come to the surface. I started to cry, and it went on for what felt like 2 or 3 hours, non-stop… sometimes I was screaming, and I felt so much suffering. I somehow knew that I was letting go of so many negative things I had held inside… it felt like everything that was holding me back was coming out.

Twice during the ceremony, I experienced death. I died, and then was reborn again. I was immersed in a world of swirling colours, and there were strange symbols that I couldn’t understand. They seemed like Egyptian symbols and Chinese letters, all floating above my head. There were also voices telling me to be responsible; to be a good man again, like the man I was before…

The next day, when I was finally fully back in this realm, I knew for sure that I was a different person. I had been transformed.

The second experience: Shamanic vision, the firmament and sacred geometry

Two weeks later, I drank ayahuasca for the second time. I had the strong feeling that I would be receiving many gifts that night, and I wasn’t disappointed.

During this experience, for the first time ever I saw the firmament and stars, and I could perceive the energy behind everything and the sacred geometry. It was like I had shamanic vision – the veil had been lifted and I was able to see what was really there beyond the limits of the normal senses. It was a truly wonderful experience.

The fifth experience: Speaking in tongues, past life and religious visions

My fifth ayahuasca experience was also a profound one that changed my awareness in a surprising way. By this time, ayahuasca had already shown me so many things about the state of my health, physical and mental. She showed me how to heal myself, and how to meditate. I also started using rapè many times a day.

Strangely it was just after, not during, the 5th ayahuasca ceremony, that I developed the ability to speak a language I had never heard before. When I started to speak it, I knew what it meant – exactly what I was saying. It was as if the moment the words left my lips there was a translation inside my head enabling me to understand it. Since then I have been able to speak this language any time I choose to, but there is one difference: if I don’t have the medicine in me, I can still speak the language but I don’t get the translation in my mind. Since then I have become aware of more than 2 other languages.

I saw visions of many past lives, and many different lives in which I had met with ayahuasca. I had sacred experiences with God, and holy visions with Jesus and Mother Mary. I also saw many Aztec patterns in my visions. I had a vision of myself as Anubis and I was inside a tomb doing the process of mummification. A friend of mine was there too, as a pharaoh. I saw him dead in a bed, accompanied by many symbols and Egyptian drawings. We had met in a past life and promised to find each other again, which was of course this life…

One of the strangest things about this for me was that I have had a tattoo of Anubis on my left arm for the last 2 years or more, as well as another Egyptian tattoo. When I got those I knew nothing about ayahuasca and ancestral medicines. I have always felt attracted to Egyptian history (as well as Greek and other ancient civilisations) and this vision seemed to be showing my why that was. I saw another past life in an Aztec civilization too.

I was visited by extra-terrestrial beings and even saw the ship landing right outside the ceremony; interestingly, others present saw them too. We heard them walking around and noticed that they were observing us too. At one point they were standing right I front of me, inviting me to travel with them in the universe and see everything possible, which I always wanted to do, but I refused because I felt unprepared…. and also that I had a different intention that night. I wanted to help a good friend of mine to cleanse his soul.

Ayahuasca has changed my life

Thanks to these experiences I am now overwhelmed with gratitude for my life, counting my blessings every day… for my family, my job, nature, the sun, understanding the meaning of life… everything! I feel connected to God and the universe and I’m full of love.
